IFGL Refractories Ltd ( 'the Company'), are pleased to announce that on Friday, 24th February, 2023, the Company's step-downand wholly owned, subsidiary in UK, Monocon International Refractories Ltd, has completed the acquisition of 100% shareholding of SheffieldRefractories Ltd, ('SRL').

The first quarter of 2020 saw the successful commissioning of the fully automated robotic spray machine for the application of working linings to both Billet & Combi Tundishes at Outokumpu, SMACC, Sheffield,UK.

Monocon for many years have provided customised design solutions for steel processing applications. We have a multi disciplinary engineering design team based in Doncaster, UK that has mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic experience.

Over the last 25 years Monocon has investigated and innovated solutions to the problem of vortex slag. As such, the UK development team has carried out significant water modelling work to determine the best solution to preventing slag carryover from the vortex.

In the first quarter of 2017, Monocon International Refractories was pleased to announce the receipt of a significant order to produce an customised automatic dart machine for a major steel manufacturing plant in the Czech Republic.
